Before You Apply: Eligibility Check

Nationality: Indian citizen
Age: Minimum 19 years as of August 31, 2026

Degree: 4/5/6-year Bachelor's degree in a relevant
 field (BSc Agriculture, BVSc & AH, BFSc, etc.)

Marks: Minimum 60% for General/OBC/EWS; 50% for SC/ST/PwD

3-year degree holders are generally not eligible, except for select programmes at IARI and NDRI
For MVSc (Veterinary Science), a BVSc & AH degree with completed internship is mandatory before the admission date.

How to Fill ICAR PG Application Form 2026 – Step by Step

Step 1 – Visit the Official Website
Go to exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR and click on "ICAR AIEEA PG 2026."

Step 2 – New Registration
Click "New Registration." Enter your name, valid email ID, and mobile number. An Application ID and password will be generated ; save these immediately.

Step 3 – Fill the Application Form
Log in and select "Proceed to Fill Application." Enter your personal details, academic qualifications, subject group (e.g., Veterinary Science), and 4 preferred exam city choices.


Step 4 – Upload Documents
Upload scanned copies in JPG format:

Photograph: 10–200 KB
Signature: 4–30 KB
Thumb impression: 3–30 KB

Use plain white background while scanning. Blurred images are a common reason for form rejection.

Step 5 – Pay Application Fee
General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,300 (approx., based on 2025 cycle)
SC/ST/PwD: ₹650 (approx., based on 2025 cycle)
Payment accepted via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI. The form is only considered submitted after successful payment.

Step 6 – Submit & Download Confirmation

ICAR AIEEA 2026 Application Correction Window


If you happen to make a mistake on the form, NTA usually provides a correction window after the registration deadline has passed. You’ll be able to update certain fields, like your exam city and subject group. However, please note that once submitted, changes to your category (General/OBC/SC/ST) cannot be made under any circumstances, so it's important to fill that out accurately the first time.
